Hunton Hall Renovation

The Hunton Hall Renovation involved the renovation of 24,895 gross square feet of space; the historic former First Baptist Church building constructed in 1841, being converted into a first-class student center to serve the Medical College of Virginia Campus of Virginia Commonwealth University. Space included a learning resource center, dining service facility, lounge and study space, computer stations meeting and group study rooms, a TV lounge offices and associated support space. Renovation included general facility improvements, mechanical system improvements and life safety and code compliance, all with particular attention to the historic quality of the facility.

Hunton Student Center Project Received the 2009 International Facility Design Award.
